Bets will be settled on the official result of the relevant governing body.
Regular season home and away matches will be settled at the end of regular time, with no extra time played. Any competition where the matches include extra time, bets will be settled on the result at the end of extra time.
If the ‘draw’ option is offered, bets will be settled on the result at the end of regular time (excluding extra time). In the event of a draw where no ‘draw’ option is offered, dead heat rules will apply.
Any team which has points deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be deemed a starter for resulting purposes. Any loss of Premierships after the completion of the Grand Final won’t count, and all bets will stand.
If a match is abandoned or postponed and played within seven days of the original scheduled date, all bets will stand. Once the seven days have expired, all single bets will be void, and stakes will be refunded, while affected combined bets will be recalculated excluding that event or leg.
All bets relating to any individual player will stand if they are listed in any 22-player matchday squad, irrespective of whether they take any part in the match or not. Bets will be void if the selected player is not in the 22-player squad. Head-to-head bets will be void if one or both of the players are not in the 22-player squad.
Statistics used by the AFL website (www.afl.com.au) will be used for payout purposes. For First Goalscorer (Match/First Quarter only), if the selected player is not in the 22-player squad, all bets on that selection will be void. All bets on First Goalscorer in any other quarter stand, regardless of the nominated player being selected as a substitute for their respective team. Bets will be void if no goal is scored within the nominated quarter.
Based on the team which has the fewest wins for the season, including byes. If more than one team has the same number of wins, the position will be determined by For and Against. Points deducted because of breaches of rules and regulations are excluded for resulting purposes.
Any team which has points deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be deemed a starter. If at the time a breach is announced, the loss of points means only one eventually can occur (i.e. Miss the 8 must occur), then all bets on that team will be void. All decisions made by the AFL regarding penalties are final.
Bets will be determined by the home state of the team that wins the Grand Final.
Bets on Win and Place markets will be paid on first, second and third. In the event of a tie between two or more players, then dead heat rules apply.
Bets will be settled based on ‘Herald Sun SuperCoach Points’.
Bets will be settled based on the Official Club Best and Fairest. Betting will close at the conclusion of round 14.
For markets involving all matches in the round, including Over/Under Total Points for All Matches, Winning Margin of Home Teams versus Away Teams, if any match is abandoned or postponed by seven days, then a reduction may be applied.
The Sportsbook General Rules will apply for any category of bets or markets not referred to in these Specific Sports Rules.
