AKICITA (4) was a leading Caulfield Guineas hope just over a year ago and while issues have conspired to ensure he hasn't reached that level, his talent overrides what we have seen from him this prep. He has raced inside horses both times this prep, though, which his rider suggested he doesn't appreciate so look for him to be kept away from the fence in this. If allowed to wind up, he could blow them away. JESSUP (3) has been up for a while now, but has contested a number of races tougher than this, but his chances haven't been helped by the wide gate. HERE THE CROWD (8) is from the country's leading stable and been a regular in metro to this point of his career so down in class with the benefit of two runs back from a spell makes him one to respect greatly. WALKINASTRAITLINE (6) needs to lift on the two runs this time in, but he remains in the care of a top stable, while THE MARG FACTOR (11) also needs to lift but gets in nicely after the claim.
